Real Wedding: Amanda and Kartal
Happy Wedding Weekend! Today, I have a lovely wedding for you, with a mix of modern touches with a drop dead gorgeous mountain backdrop. The couple wanted a black and white theme with a mountain twist so we incorporated birch here and there and kept it simple because the setting at Della Terra in Estes Park, Colorado is already beautiful! What a fun couple to work with too. They wanted to keep things elegant but low key at the same. To do this we dressed up the tables but made other details fun, like the Chicago Bulls Announcer Ray Clay doing their grand entrance fun! Click here to see that one!! They also wanted to incorporate tavel into their wedding as they had guests traveling from all over the world to come and they had also been to quite a few places themselves. Look out for those cute details too! They also had a fabulous band that kept the guests dancing all night long. What a night!
Details to look out for:
Places they had traveled to as their Table Numbers
Escort cards with clues from their experiences at the places they had been to to help them find their seat.
Luggage tag favors
Lovely cocktail food
Mailbox with vintage postcards for guestbook
Gorgeous Mountain backdrops
Impeccable white centerpieces with orchids, calla lilies and peonies and a gorgeous all white peony bouquet.
Long head table with ziz zaging bouquets as a runner
Wedding advice cards

Real Wedding: Brittany and Cameron
POSTED ON FEBRUARY 16, 2013
I love highlighting creative ideas and this wedding is chalk full of them! This couple, Brittany and Cameron were a joy to work with and have a boston terrier just like me so we were immediate friends! Going with a romantic Colorado Barn style wedding, Brittany and Cameron chose Crooked Willow Farms as their picture perfect spot to say their I Do’s. They put their heart and soul into this wedding by doing tons of DIY Projects including all of the centerpieces, aisle decor, appetizers, table numbers, menus, doily bunting and even the rockin’ chocolate lips and mustache escort cards and favors. The lips and mustaches were a definite theme along with the romantic palette of yellow, pink and white. It all came together beautifully and thankfully Rouxby Photography captured every moment. Seriously just look at that first look shot!

Real Wedding: Sarah and Nathan
Sarah and Nathan’s wedding nestled in the mountains of Larkspur, Colorado at Spruce Mountain Ranch incorporated all of their loves in life, friends and family the beautiful outdoors, and celebration. Their ceremony took place on a gorgeous mountain side and the rest of their wedding had as many lovely natural touches as that picturesque view. One of their goals in life is to visit all of the national parks in America and they wanted to tie this in as much as possible. They used the national park font all of their printed materials and each table was named after a different national park with their picture from their visit there. Each centerpiece was custom designed to match the park it was placed on, real aspen trees flanked the reception room, rocks guided guests to their seats where they found an acorn that held their place card and the details continued with their Colorado inspired menu served on their platinum rimmed plates with a wood grained texture. A woodsy displayed dessert bar topped the night with Nathans favorite dessert of shots of milk with oreos on forks and Sarah’s favorite mini Key lime pies, Colorado fruit tarts, macaroons, and chocolate covered mushrooms made out of meringue. Add some lavender mojitos and some custom margaritas and you have yourself a wonderful affair! Check out these lovely photos by Rouxby Photography

Lovelies! This is a table arrangement that I helped put together for a photo shoot for Ashley Nicole Events. The theme was rustic glamorous and the style of the groom was a outdoorsy, hunter type and the bride was a chic glamour girl. The two collide and BAM, you have this!
