Hey Lovelies! We are super excited to be part of a blog hop this week. All week long, bloggers have put together a lovely alfresco tablescape to give you all sorts of inspiration. {Links at the bottom!} We love eating outside in the summer time and when we think of alfresco (meaning: in the open air), we thought it would be fun to have a great, ultimate, in the open air tablescape by bringing the Great Outdoors to it! We just love camping in the summer time. There is nothing better than being close to nature and seeing all it’s natural beauty. There are so many easy and lovely ways to capture that same beauty in a outdoors woodsy tablescape! We can’t wait to show you this Au natur-al woodsy eye candy!
Alfresco Rustic & Woodsy Tablescape
{Our alfresco woodsy tablescape is filled with coziness and a lot of natural elements. We included lots of different woods, feathers, leather, furs, and leaves to capture the true spirit of the great outdoors. Add in some coziness with a fur table cloth and a warm blanket overlay to really bring in that camping feel too.
If you have been following us for awhile, you know we love Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft Stores. We even add some inspiration on their blog every month. You can get all of this cute woodsy decor in from their stores right now! }
{We love these woodsy, natural inspired place settings! The wooden chargers bring in the woodsy element and mixes really well with black plates.}
{We wrapped the silverware in leather to bring it that outdoorsy feel to it and lovely it up a bit to complement the whole theme of the table. This is a super easy DIY, all you need is some hot glue!}
{We are totally in love with this topiary centerpiece. That feather vase is just too lovely and the boxwood ball on top really brings in that fresh, earthy element.}
{We love the look of the feathers on this candle for a natural look and feel. Candlelight is our favorite when it comes to cozy dining!}
{This natural feathers owl was perfect on this table. He is seriously adorable too!}
{Speaking of adorable, this wooden deer is one of our favorite decor pieces on this table! We also brought in natural pine cones and wooden slabs to really bring out that woodsy element to the table. The copper branch lantern is lovely too.}
{We wrapped our napkins with faux leather and added some wooden pony beads for an lovely touch. To top off the look we added in ready birch wood medallions and stamped a pine tree on them to really add that woodsy look to the whole table!}
{Camping and being outdoors is always full of lots of critters and so these wood burned foxes and bears just had to make their way on this table too.}
{These gold and silver plaid cups add in a touch of chicness to the table that we just love.}
{And that’s how you really dine alfresco with a lovely Woodsy Tablescape! Camping edition ;)}
Thanks so much for joining us today and a special thanks to Chole from Celebrate and Decorate Blog for organizing this lovely blog hop! Be sure to check out all the other beautiful alfresco tablescapes to get your daily dose of lovely!

That’s what I call glamping! You’ve put some great elements into this tablescape, Emily. Not only does pass very well for a summer tablescape, but it easily transitions the season through fall. I love the flatware wrapped in leather, and textiles always make my heart skip a beat. Love the layers, especially the plaid. Have a great weekend!

How different and fun! I love all the rustic woodsy elements in your outdoor setting Emily, especially the leather wrapped flatware, how brilliant is that! I love the way you casually styled the table toppers too, and your color scheme hints to the upcoming fall season. Cute wood animals and owl 🙂 I’m not much of a camper, but this looks like a great way to dine!
Emily Miller says
Thanks so much Jenna! Yeah the cute wood animals are my favorite too!

Emily! Wow! I fell into the beachy coastal vibe as a lot of us did for the blog hop, your rustic woodsy tablescape is such a fresh look on an alfresco table! I love this, it feeds into that whole “glamping” idea. I don’t even know where to start…the leather wrapped flatware, the wood medallions added to your diy napkin rings! I absolutely love every little detail! Thank you so much for being a party of the tablescape blog hop!
Emily Miller says
Thanks Chole! And Thank you for hosting it. It has been so fun to see everyone’s different ideas. I did see a lot of beachy vibes and nautical is so popular right now, I just thought of camping for some reason but it turned out lovely!
Kim says
Emily, this is perfect for fall! In Chloe’s comment she mentioned “glamping” and I’ve not heard that term until now, but she nailed it! You’ve created a glamorous camping environment. I think my favorite thing that I just might have to borrow one day 😉 is the leather-wrapped flatware. Genious! And where did you find the feather vase? Love that, too!
Emily Miller says
Thanks Kim! Yes leather wrapped flatwear. Super easy to do! The vase is at Jo-Ann right now in their fall section!

Coming from Wisconsin and having been to the Northwoods, I really find your woodsy tablescape so inviting. I love yoyour use of plaid, wood, leather and feathers. So much textures. The cute owl and wood carved deer decor pieces complete the woodsy theme. I think your table would be the envy of all of the hunters, both male and female, in the area.
Emily Miller says
Thanks Marsha! That is what I was going for!

This is so fun!! We’ve always had a special place in our hearts for owls since our grandmother loved them. So timely with fall coming up, adore!

Emily, Your table is so creative. The woodsy camping theme was clever and you did a great job with it. So many cute details. Love adding the plaid cloth that coordinates with your chairs and hightlights your centerpiece. Liked the leather wrapped silverware and all your wooden natural accents.
Enjoyed your post.

Thanks so much for the kind words Bonnie!

OH this is so fun! You’ve totally captured the feeling of outdoor woodsy with a camping vibe. The owl is terrific along with the other “animal” inspired pieces. Great idea to wrap the flatware with leather! A faux fur tablecloth adds to the look and the feather vase centerpiece is perfect. Of course, the “forest-y” backdrop is magnificent for this type of tablescape. It has been so fun participating in the Alfresco Blog Hop and my visit here was an enjoyable “hike in the woods”. 🙂

Aww Lori You are so sweet!

I love the tablescape!! I would love to have a meal sitting there! I wondered where you got the fox and bear woodburned pieces? did you make them yourself and can they be purchased somewhere? Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful table!
Emily Miller says
Great Question! I didn’t make them myself, there were from a wood banner that Target was selling last year for Christmas. I wonder if they still have it?
Emily Miller says
*They were
