Maps, Globes and Suitcases? It must be a Travel Party!

Hi Lovelies! As we continue our travel to New York week extravaganza, today we are going to show you some lovely travel themed parties. Vintage travel themes have been a HUGE trend in the wedding scene for 2012 and 2013 and I must say quite smitten for this theme myself. There is so much to work with, lots of DIY projects and everything always turns out so lovely! The key to a brilliant travel theme is maps. Maps can be included in everything. Map flags, map bunting, map runners, map cookies, even map paper airplanes! Suitcases are a huge detail too. Just using suitcases as elevation for cake stands, flowers or really any darling piece really makes  the theme come alive. Again, works for soooo many events. It’s simply universal! You will see what we are talking about, just check out this eye candy!
