Inspiration of The Day
I am loving today’s look!!! A stunning cross between modern and garden for a tablescape. Check out those chairs! I also love the varying height candles and the simple but stunning white and green centerpieces going down the table. Oh M Gee the menu holders are fantastic. Acrylic menus held up by varying gold pipes…amazing! The natural wood table just finishes the look! What a lovely look for a garden party, rehearsal dinner, bridal shower or wedding.

Wow. I have an absolutely fabulous tent reception today! Just look how everything coordinates!! I love the draped space with the stripped pattern. I also love the white and black pillows! The different patterns help break things up but just add to the coordinating colors. I adore the black glasswear and the black and white candles down the center of the table. It’s amazing! I think it would go so well not only for a wedding but a bridal shower or just a lovely get together!

Gourmet Burger Bar
Just having burgers and tots last night, I came across this photo today and I just had to share it! What a brilliant idea to liven up your burger bar. Burgers are one of the top foods to enjoy while celebrating. What is the first thing you think of for 4th of July? Summer BBQ with burgers! Whether it is for a summer cook out or ever a game day treat this will definitely have your guests drooling. Anything will look amazing in these porcelain square containers and there are some great ideas here to top your burger. Different flavored buns, pancetta, different cheeses, all sorts of lettuce, tomatoes of all different colors, guac and avocado, it all sounds amazing and beautifully displayed. Add in some fabulous gourmet condiments in jars, parmesan cheese sticks and some fresh herbs for decor and tantalizing scent and this burger bar is good to go!

I Love this table! It is so colorful and there are so many fun elements! I love the ribbon coming off each place setting and the light blue blow with different colored decor element in each bowl. I am seriously smitten for colored glass wear lately and this burnt yellow glass ware is not exception. Then add in the bright, colorful and whimsical floral arrangements in matching light blue vases and you have me. What I love about this able is it so versatile. It is good for a plenty of themed house party, birthday, wedding, rehearsal dinner, bridal shower or even Easter!

POSTED ON FEBRUARY 8, 2013
Lovelies, I am in shock!! I wanted to post some killer pictures today of lovely Grammy Award Parties you have thrown in the past and come to find out…there aren’t any…I know right? Today we are going to change that! I am not sure if all of you out there weren’t sure what to put together for a Grammy award party or weren’t inspired or never thought of throwing one but I have the answer for all of that. I have put together 3, you heard it 3, Grammy Inspiration boards! This year is important…55 years!
This means you can go 1 of three ways, the traditional Gold and Black, a subway art theme in lieu of the Grammy Logo this year or Emerald Green for 55 year anniversary which is amazing timing as that is the color of the year too!
Let’s start with Gold and Black
The Highlights:
-Black and white invitation with fun calligraphy and gold sequenced wrap. Photo: 100 Layer Cake
-Black and Gold Table setting fit for the red carpet with gold beaded chargers, gold silverware, black napkin with a program tucked inside with nominees. You can even have it as a ballot card and have guests vote before the show starts and the guest with the most correct votes gets a prize. How cute would it be to finish the napkin off with a little Gramophone? Photo: For the Love of Design
-Lovely Black, Gold and White dessert bar. Photo from Divine Party Concepts. Use lush hydrangea or get some silk ones to fill white vases and finish them off with a black ribbon. Get a ruffly cake to match. Have gold cake balls displayed with music note stars for easy pick up. Get the music note stars on a stick from Coppleshop. Add some other decadent favorites in there too like dark chocolate squares or brownies with gold dust. Decorate with a gold, black, silver and white tassel garland which you can make yourself with the tutorial from Pizzazzerie. Finish it off with photo booth props of fun music star glasses and gramophones. This sparkly one is from The Manic Moose

Doesn’t this warm weather lately just make you want to go outside and enjoy the sun? My ideal place to enjoy the sun is with my closest friends in my backyard and this photo is exactly what I envision a lovely backyard get together. Not to mention a beautiful look for an outdoor wedding as well. I am head over heels for that table width navy and white striped runner. Don’t even get me started on the marvelous modern white chairs not to mention the fabulous natural centerpieces with hints of hot pink and loads of greenery. The copper silverware along side the copper boxes and display items really tops the whole look!
